Pablo Martínez Llorente is a partner at Whitewell Legal SLP. He founded the firm after having worked for several years at several large international law firms.
Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous national and international arbitrations, administered by various institutions. He has also been involved in the enforcement of arbitral awards, in proceedings to set aside awards and in interim measures in support of arbitration.
Pablo has been recognized as a “Future Leader” in international arbitration in the 2024 edition of Who’s Who Legal.
He has offered advice to clients on on a broad range of disputes, particularly in matters of contracts and obligations and in corporate conflicts. Additionally, he participates in proceedings before civil courts at all levels, including the filing of appeals in cassation and extraordinary appeals for procedural infringement before the Supreme Court.
He regularly advises on issues of international jurisdiction and applicable law and has experience in the enforcement of foreign decisions in Spain.
Pablo Martínez earned a degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-3).
He has advanced his professional career at Uría Menéndez, Baker McKenzie, Hogan Lovells and Carles Cuesta.
Pablo Martínez currently teaches a class on Alternative Dispute Resolution Systems: Mediation and Commercial Arbitration in Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE).
