César is the firm’s founding partner and his practice focuses on national and international corporate and litigation matters as a lawyer and expert in Ecuadorian law. He also serves as an arbitrator in cases at Ecuador’s leading arbitration centers and international arbitrations administered by the ICC in Paris, ICDR, and UNCITRAL.
He has been a member of the International Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Court, President of the Arbitration Center of the Guayaquil Chamber of Commerce, Director for Ecuador at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Dean and Professor of Civil Law at the Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil, President of the Ecuadorian Academy of Corporate Law, and a member of Ecuadorian institutes specializing in procedural law, arbitration, and competition law.
